👨🍳
Instructions
-
Heat a wok over medium-high heat with a small drizzle of oil. Add the lean pork and stir-fry until just cooked through and lightly browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
-
In the same wok, add the green beans and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes until their color turns vibrant and the surface begins to blister slightly. Add the yellow bean sauce and toss well to coat evenly.
-
Return the pork to the wok. Add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, dried chili, and a splash of water. Stir to combine, then cover and let simmer for 3–5 minutes until the beans are tender yet still slightly crisp.
-
Add minced garlic in the final minute of cooking and stir briefly until fragrant. Serve hot with steamed rice.
💡 Chef's Tips
- Stir-fry the green beans first to develop slight blistering—this enhances both flavor and texture.
- Add garlic at the end to preserve its aroma and prevent bitterness.
- Do not overcook the beans; they should remain tender with a slight bite.
- This dish pairs exceptionally well with freshly steamed rice to soak up the savory sauce.
